St. Mary's Internal Medicine Associates To Open New Location On Chase Street

St. Mary's Internal Medicine Associates (SIMA) announced that they will open a second location on Monday, Feb. 3. The new three-story building will be located at 658 N. Chase St., Suite 201 in Athens near Prince Avenue. SIMA hopes to provide their patients with more space, as they are expanding to serve areas including Athens-Clarke, Jackson and Madison counties.

SIMA is a primary care office that provides patients ages 18 and over with internal medicine services. The services include providing wellness checks, ordering tests, diagnosing medical issues, prescribing medication and more. SIMA utilizes holistic methods to tend to patients' physical, emotional and spiritual health.

SIMA treats common conditions such as illnesses, allergies, infections, mental health issues and more. The diagnostic services included are electrocardiograms, influenza and strep testing, pap smears and GeneSight testing.

Dr. Kathleen Grant, Dr. Mohana Cherukuri and Dr. Priscilla Biney will start seeing patients at the new location on Feb. 3. All three doctors are accepting new patients. Dr. Milene Argo, Dr. Brian Brewer, Dr. Robert Seminara, Dr. Samantha Avoke, Dr. Diana Blake and nurse practitioner Savannah Blasingame will all remain at the original office, which is located at 2470 Daniells Bridge Road, Building 200, Suite 231 in Athens.

The new location can be accessed from Prince Avenue or the Chase Street exit on Loop 10. Patients traveling on highways 129 (Jefferson Road), 441 (Commerce Road), 29 (Danielsville Road), and Ga. 72 (Hull Road) are expected to find the building conveniently located.
