Cleveland Nonprofit Expands Opioid Treatment With New Uptown Clinic
CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Centers now has a second clinic dedicated to helping people with opioid use disorder through medication-assisted treatment, the nonprofit community health organization recently announced.
The new Walk-in Medication Assisted Treatment Clinic at Uptown, 12201 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, is housed in the Centers' Uptown Integrated Health & Wellness location. The new clinic offers a welcoming, stigma-free environment where people experiencing opioid use disorder can receive care, regardless of insurance coverage or ability to pay, the Centers said.
"The expansion reflects the Centers' enduring commitment to timely, compassionate, and integrated care—and directly responds to the continued, urgent need for accessible treatment options in Northeast Ohio," the nonprofit said in a news release.
The Walk-in Medication Assisted Treatment Clinic at Uptown provides medication-assisted treatment options for opioid use disorder, including Suboxone, Sublocade, Vivitrol, and Brixadi, a new long-acting injected drug, the Centers said.
The clinic offers same-day evaluations and personalized treatment plans, the Centers said.
Scheduled appointments and walk-in patients are welcome. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.M. To 4 p.M. Walk-in patients should arrive before 3:30 p.M. To ensure same-day service.

The new Uptown clinic is near the Centers' Behavioral Health Urgent Care location, as well as an on-site laboratory and in-house pharmacy for patients' convenience.
"Expanding the Walk-in Medication Assisted Treatment Clinic to Uptown is a direct reflection of our mission to meet people where they are— with dignity, urgency, and compassion," said The Centers CEO Eric Morse. "We are making it as easy as possible for people to begin their recovery journey without delay."
The original Walk-in Medication Assisted Treatment Clinic, located in the Centers' Gordon Square Health & Wellness Center, launched in 2024.
The Centers provides health and wellness services, including primary care, behavioral health care, addiction services, HIV treatment, in-house pharmacies, and dental, along with childhood development, career training, and job placement programs.
