medicare covers cancer screening :: Article Creator Medicare Refusing To Pay For Cancer Scan Sparks Warning For Patients Women who are on Medicare are being warned that their government-provided healthcare might not cover all the services they need at their next OB-GYN appointment. "My focus in my practice is primary care for men," said Wu, who was recently named one of five top Internal Medicine specialists in the May issue of Rhode Island Monthly. Many of his male patients, he said, need a little nudge, usually from their significant other, to see him. "There are generalizations but I think that one plays out pretty well," said Wu.
